Volunteer Eligibility

The Transparency Trailblazer Award honors a select number of social justice warriors internationally for their incredible achievement in volunteer service and community engagement. This program provides individual recognition to volunteers for their hard work in continuing the fight for criminal justice reform as well as police accountability and transparency. Requirements

  • Volunteer with the Chicago Justice Project for at least 3 months
  • Hours of service have been signed off by the project supervisor
  • Over the age of 14

Platinum:

The Justice Champion


To earn the award for this tier of the Transparency Trailblazer Award, the volunteer must have completed 100 hours of service with the Chicago Justice Project.

To earn the award for this tier of the Transparency Trailblazer Award, the volunteer must have completed 175 hours of service with the Chicago Justice Project. 

To earn the award for this tier of the Transparency Trailblazer Award, the volunteer must have completed 250 hours of service with the Chicago Justice Project. 

To earn the award for this tier of the Transparency Trailblazer Award, the volunteer must have completed 350 hours of service with the Chicago Justice Project.
